GE Problems?

Right so I come back after about a year off Runescape and nothing buys OR sells quickly :/

Is it just me? What's wrong with the GE...?

I buy flax and it takes about 3 hours to buy...
I sell Bowstring and it doesn't even sell...

I can't remember a day where it never bought right away...?

What's wrong with it!?

 

There is a cap on how many flax you can buy per 4 hours. It's 20k. If you're buying more than that, that's why.

I don't know why Bowstring isn't selling immediately, that's a commonly traded item.

 

Also you have to remember that if you sell an item you cannot buy it for 4 hours and vise versa.

 

Lots of people spin flax for money, so there's always a lot of bowstrings in the G.E.
There's often more supply than demand, that's why bowstrings fluctuate a lot.

 

Could be, also, after checking the graphs, it seems Bow Strings are about to crash down a bit. Investors are probably dumping them.

 

Yeah, they do that too often. That's why I don't spin.

GE has a few limits imposed on each player.
1.Every item has a different cap limiting the total purchasable amount within 4 hours.
2. When using the GE, you cannot sell an item of that type for 4 hours after purchasing it on the GE. If you trade it normally, you are able to sell it on GE (Correct me if I'm wrong).
3.Your item isn't selling because either there is no demand or your price is too high.
4. Your item isn't buying because either people aren't selling or your offer is too low.

 

The botters supply that stuff, Jagex banned most botters for 14 days,
So that's probably why.
