    Graham's Proposal

I talked to R33l about 3-4 weeks ago about rejoining the team in hopes of returning to my glory :p. Anyways, he said to wait it out because the current user educators wanted to make sure I was going to stay and show activity in the section. I have now showed activity for those 3-4 weeks along with two excess guides:
    1. The Principles of Logic- http://www.sythe.org/showthread.php?t=819919
    2. Courtrooms and Law- http://www.sythe.org/showthread.php?t=696680

    Here is my previous application:
    1. http://www.sythe.org/showthread.php?t=605154

I have produced high quality guides, maintained my activity, helped members and have posted fairly intelligent. I hope that the members of the team would be happy to have myself back and I would be delighted as well. So, you ask yourself whats the proposal? And I will respond with: The ability to continue to write guides, entertain members, and educate those with questions by regaining my position on the team.

All looks good but I dont see how this proves you'll be active and stay.

Doesn't prove you're going to continue to be active, to be honest. I suggest you write more guides and resubmit your user education application.

Just my two cents. I'm not a UE and it is not my place to say whether you should rejoin the team or not.

Coming back for 2.5 weeks and posting occasionally doesnt really merit it IMO. Additionally, despite, how knowledgeable on the subjects you have written on, they are not really guides, more of descriptions. You basically summarized each one, without going into any "guide" aspect of it, or the functional purpose or use of each. (Although that is truly a minor issue). Personally, if it were up to me, I would say all members should be required to complete an application. In the event that you were to continue your helpfulness around the forums, and complete an actual application, I think it would be received positively.

Firstly, I've been back for a month now (4 weeks). I have posted daily since I have been back and have shown active contribution throughout the user education forums. I became a UE in early June of 2009 and had contributed heavily and stayed active from then till late December, when due to personal issues I was forced to leave for about 3 or 4 months. In guides such as the Functions of Calculus and the Principles of Logic are guides due to the fact that I present the information and then provide usage of the material and the proper way to implement it into the subject; thus they are hardly "descriptions", although some may be. I will continue my activity because the rank doesn't mean much to me anymore, but it's already been a solid month since I've spoken to R33l.

Alright well I have nothing against you, you seem like an intelligent friendly and helpful guy. I will just respectfully disagree I guess. As I said, if you were to simply make another application, I have few doubts that it would receive very positive feedback.

If I where a UE, you'd defiantly have my vote. You did a good job when you where. I've missed you, and hoping to see you return.

I agree with venom1 and Sindre..... Graham was one of the more prominent User Educators. If he can stick around, you should definitely allow him back into the team.

Yes, you were a really good User Educator on the team. But i'm sorry i'll have to say I agree with Nate.

my simple opinion is, To get on the User Education team, you must make a guide. Not try to make a "proposal".

Your proposal states: The ability to continue to write guides, entertain members, and educate those with questions by regaining my position on the team.

A lot of Sythe.org members do that every single day. So, if you do that, then every other person gets a rank and a spot on the team?

    1. I can't believe all these UE members are becoming moderators, nicely done venom.
I've written 7 guides, I don't think that's the issue. To rejoin the team you can simply ask if you were a previous member and if they see fit you can be re-added to the team. I asked about a month ago and was hoping for a better outcome now seeing as it is a month later and I have proved activity.
