My girlfriend doesn't try anymore?

LAST EDIT: Well. It all came to an end. We worked everything out. She was going to college soon so we ended it now instead of later. That way we can cope now with friends and family and not during school.

Looks like you should end it with her. Seems as though your relationship has come to it's end. She is obviously being a complete bitch. If she doesn't want to try, why are you clinging onto her.

If she still liked you, she wouldn't be acting like this.

Um tell her your 2 good for her..and you need to end it.. then get with a nother girl and make her jealous or just go on with your life...maybe her eyes will open up ..

You need to talk to her about how controlling she's being - but before you talk to her, you have to come to terms with the fact that you may have to break it off. Relationships aren't easy, and it's not going to work if she's not willing to put effort into it.

If it feels like it's over to you, though, it probably is.

Go get pizza and go to the movies by yourself or with your friends. Stop inviting her to go places. Don't make suggestions or try and do stuff with her. Start flirting with other women, and making yourself available without actually being available. Talk in short, to the point sentences to her. Let her be in control of what she wants to be, and when you don't like it just walk away and do something else.

 

Combine these two. First, confront her about it, except if you really love her you don't necessarily have to actually break it off right then, just say to yourself that you aren't dating (this might be a little confusing). After that, spend some time away from her, not shunning her completely, but stop making dates and other plans. Only see her as you would normally see her in a day. This part gets risky: flirt with other women, but not enough to obviously show that you're doing it, because if it's very blatant she may flirt with other guys to get you back.

If all-in-all this doesn't work, and she isn't mad nor annoyed, then take it to a higher level. Not to piss her off, but to end it more subtly (at least for you). Find another girl that you're comfortable talking to and hang around more with her. Share your emotions so when you do break up (probably will at this point), you don't explode.

EDIT: Oh yeah, by the way, she's probably just taking you for granted, not necessarily being controlling. Well, obviously she's being controlling, but that's only because you let her (to be nice, I don't fault you for it).

 

I have the same problem and I have been in a relationship for the same amount of time.

I assume that it is a time thing, because the longer you are in the relationship with a girl the less she cares about what you think because you are so comfortable together that it doesn't really matter.

If she is trying to avoid you though, maybe she is bored of being in a relationship and just wants to get around more. :\

I know the solution is 100x harder than "end it". I have tried that with my girlfriend and I love her way too much to do that. What I always do to get to her and make her really think is write her a really long and thought-out note or letter explaining everything.

 

Relationships often just fizzle out, but often they can spark up again if you give her some time and space. If you really like her, don't do anything idiotic like flirting with other women in front of her. All you will do is make her angry or drive her away.

 

If you stay with someone like that you'd have to be whipped. Just dump her, she's probably seeing another guy anyway. Hope it works out for the best

I think you've just got boring, and she hans't got the same thrill she had with you when you first met, my suggestion would be end it before she end's it with you.

If anybody treated me like that I'd end it without a doubt. Some girls think they're superior because they have the vag. I suggest you end it now, give the bitch a reality check.

 

I had the same problem, just start a conversation (nicely) and after 3 min of talking ask whats wrong.

Talk to her, seriously. Also state that you are considering breaking up, and maybe you should end it. I wouldn't like to be in a relationship like that, honestly.

 

I suggest having a heart-to-heart talk to her about it. Ask her if she's willing to work on the relationship. If she isn't, I suggest you end it immediately. That way, you both aren't going to waste any more time together in a dead-end relationship.

 

Seems to me that the problem is she does all this because you never have a problem with it. Learn to say no once in a while, disagree with her. If you always just agree to everything she says, of course she will never do anything you want because she knows you will do what she wants instead.

It's probably too late to change her attitude towards you now, I suggest you end it and don't make the same mistake again.
