First Week Of Flipping[Prog]

So I've been reviewing a couple guides and I decided to try my hand at flipping.

If you don't know what flipping is, its basically using the Grand Exchange to buy low and sell high.

Sometimes you buy slightly under mid, and in-turn sell for slightly over, and sometimes you buy for slightly over mid, and hopefully sell for high. It all depends on if the item is rising, steady, or falling.

I did not take screenies of everything I flipped, but these are the most previous items that I have tried. In total I have made about a 2M profit, which isn't bad IMO seeing as I honestly don't know exactly what I'm doing yet.

The only problem I have atm is finding the right item to utilize correctly.

I'm not using my whole cash-pile, as I'm afraid of an item going under and me loosing quite a bit of cash.

So let me know what you guys think, and if you have any tips or constructive criticism, feel free to post.



The Fire Runes I bought for lowest, and sold for high. Took me about 4 days total to buy them and sell them.

The fury I bought for about 40k under mid and sold for about 19k under because I got scared it was going to fall even more then it already was. (Bought and sold that the same night)

I recommend flipping barrows sets. I used to make around 800k a day (full 24hrs), usually more.

And I only spent 22m each time

 

Yeah not bad profit for your first time trying, but definately try Barrows. I use to flip them also, they are very wasy to flip.

 

So as a set, or buy everything separately?

Try dragon boots if they've become steadier. :]

 

Well, it depends on the set.

For Torags, you would want to buy in set, and sell in parts, because people usually buy torags as extra armor that they have a free slot in (IE, helm-legs). Nobody wants torags for the set-effect. However, with sets like guthans, you would want to do the reverse, because nobody wants spare guthans parts.

I did d boots for my first ever flip. Bought like 30 of them and made a pretty good profit. Wish I had the screenie for that.

 

Dragon Legs, Dragon Hatchet, Bandos boots.

 

I like buying steady items more, as its safer. But I'll give it a go.

Very nice, I have like 24mil to work with, just put in an offer for 10k cannonballs at lowest, it worked out last time when I got 500 and made about 70k profit (it was only 500 balls, imagine 10k).

If you want to flip go for Safe, High Demand items. Runes for example. High demand items are often less risky, and a flipped quicker than regular, off the bat items.

 

i did my first flip with black dhides, i reccomend flipping with a item people need, so that it cant completely crash

I usually flip gold ore and death/blood runes- all have pretty easy to read patterns

 

I ushually do d boots/bloods/deahts/whips While doing herb runs it's pretty decent money for like no work at all.
