Iphone and AT&T

Okay so 8 gigabyte Iphones are only 99 dollars now. I am planning on buying one but I am wondering if it will change my phone bill? I already have at&t and i have a lg neon. Can i just switch my simcard over to the iphone and move on with life or is there a extra charges and what not to switch. I do have texting but i don't have a data plan. I'm just sort of confused as to what i have to do.

 

Yes you need a whole new plan. The Iphone will just be on the emergency calls only screen, and the only way to get that out is by jail braking it or by unlocking it at the itunes store by buying a whole new plan.

If you jail brake it and then put your sim card in it they will contact you saying your next bill will have the charges for the Iphone.
