RWT minor

I received a message in inbox about 6 months ago warning for RWT. I recently purchased gp and just received a RWT minor 3 day ban. Under the offense “your account has been temp banned and wealth has been removed for RWT…should you continue further action will be taken against your account.” I purchased items with the gp and had 50m gp left in bank. I’ve read jagex can remove gold, sometimes items rearranging bank. I am wondering if I should try to appeal this or that will make it worse and should just wait the 3 days. Also I will not be buying anymore gp in the future but I’d assume the next ban would be RWT major (perm). Appreciate any response from someone that is more familiar.

 

I mean you have nothing to appeal on, to be cut and dry.

Even if you were using a VPN you saying a hacker must of put gold on, will only reduce ban. But again this story doesn't make sense, you cant admit it, nor say sorry.

but your account is probably extra montiored for awhile, and yeah next major rule break will probably be a perm ban.
So start a new account if you want to degen, or just call it a day and dont do it again.

 

I thought Jagex gives a warning to buyers, before taking action against their account. Is that no longer the case?

 

He literally states in the first sentence of his post of having received a warning.

how long should you wait after a 3 day? I heard for buying gold it goes 3-day, 7-day, 1 month then perm. idk how true it is and its prob not guaranteed. I got hit with a minor 3 day about 2 weeks ago. you think after 2 months its back to normal risk levels?

 

Just use a different account to buy gold. As long as it's somewhat leveled and isn't new, you'll be fine.

 

Issue is i messed up and i think the reason i got caught was i used my alt to buy on a ftp world and then traded to my main for the chain ban. so, idk how long to wait to buy on my main or how to clean the money to get onto my main. The whole flagged thing is odd to me because I got the warning and bought 4-5 times after no problem so idk how much they watch flagged accounts or if it's even a real thing. any ideas on how to buy gold with these circumstances?

 

Yo man, same thing happened to me today. Got the warning about a year ago and then didnt purchase gold for over a year. Received a 2 day RWT (minor) ban after purchasing gold about 10 days ago.

I had the option to appeal and so I did. I didn't make any excuses, just admitted I was wrong and won't happen again. 30 minutes later the appeal was denied.

Just curious if you ended up having wealth actually removed. I hadn't spent the gold yet as I was saving it up for a large purchase, just want to get some insight from someone who went through the same thing.

Sorry if above was confusing - I didnt purchase in over a year, maybe last purchase was early 2021. And then about 10 days ago, I did and was subsequently banned a week later.

 

did you buy from a website or small time gold seller

 

A larger website, however I shopped around until I found one I trusted.
