Let get this right, Flipping not same as merchanting, this is because Billionaires who came up with the term marching say is not! They control the rs economic. Here a fact. When I was a noob (30m) i joined chessy018 (I think that her name) and asked “what item you marching” they simply said we stop marching and “we are a flipping clan now”. What does that mean?
Before trade limit, player had freedom to set the price and stuff so they simply call it as “marching”.
But when g.e came a different meaning came up for those worlds. People start to use new worlds to explain what they were doing. As the term marching is now know for clan marching = when you out an item.
Flipping is just the old way, but using g e and was given a new name due marching meant “clan marching” now days. Old Billionaires who used to call the old way marching “buying something for less than what it's worth and selling it for more 4 hours later” decide to call it “flipping”.

Your english is fine but your argument is flawed . Check my vouches... I am one of the RS billionaires you speak of, and I contributed to chessy's flip list for months lol.

As for them telling you "we don't merch, we flip", what they were referring to was not merchanting either. Price manipulation clans, clans that buy out the entire RS supply of one item and inflate the prices only to dump their junk on noobs hoping to get rich quick, called themselves "merchanting clans" because "lying our ass off and scamming all you dumb idiots" clans wouldn't attract as many members .

Also, the MAX you can earn in a price manipulation clan is 5% of your investment per day. Any decent flipper, which you seem to be, can make way more than that in a day. So obviously it was in their best interests, both for GP and to avoid what might have been a ban (Jagex was making a bunch of threats back then), to stop price manipulating and stick to flip merchanting.

Btw.... the english definition of merchant: "One who buys goods and re-sells for profit."

I'm seriously considering posting a free flipping guide as my way of saying thanks to Sythe for making me plenty of money over the past year. But since I can't do anything half-assed, I'll think about it for awhile and let you and the others sell your guides in the meantime
