When Should I cap My Range?

    Hey guys,

Heres my F2P pker. (P2P right now)

    43 Attack
    75 Strength
65 HP (on my last thread I said 69 by accident)
    1 Defence
    55 Range

This is gonna be a range/2h account.

PS; Should I get my prayer to 13/31? And I don't seem to have a reason to get my mage up, so will this give my combat level a better advantage because I have no mage?

1 prayer for f2p and 13 for p2p. If you do get 13 make sure you do the priest in perel quest

Getting mage up wouldn't affect your combat level except if you train it in a way which raises your hp (only the hp affects the cb level not the mage). Mage would only be a problem if you got it where you are mage based. Atm that would be aprox level 76 or so (off the top of my head). If you're just f2p don't really worry about mage, if you plan to p2p then getting it to 60 wouldn't hurt for the added mage defence.

As Solid said, 1 Prayer for F2P, 13 for P2P.

As for Magic, use a combat calculator to see what level you need to reach before you become Magic-based. If you get Range and Strength high enough, Magic won't affect your combat level. If you don't want the extra Constitution levels, you should use non-combat spells to train Magic such as High Level Alchemy.

In the end, extra Magic levels are useful since the higher your Magic, the higher your defense against Magical attacks will be.
