OK. So I told my dad about selling pins. Please can someone explain how [they buy] and WHY 99% of pins are AUS PBP/SMS. Thanks if you do.

Because the pins are obtained illegally, and are not purchased for $10.00 or whatever from runescape.com

Through ********s... where a number is called and then the pin is charged to a company who then charges back/never pays(im not really sure the process) but point is the pins are obtained but no money ever goes to runescape... hence why its illegal and MOST(not all) AUS pins are from ********s from my knowledge.

Not all the time actually very rarely do i hear of people being banned for pins but im almost positive runescape receives no money for pins bought through ********s.

It is illegal, what it basically is, is stealing from Jagex. Those pins belong to Jagex, yet they are recieving nothing for them.

This is illegal BUT is allowed on Sythe.org.

But ANYTHING to do with pinlines is not tolerated on Sythe.org and you can get banned from this site for doing so, problem is, how do the staff know where you are obtaining the pins from.

WARNING; you CAN be banned and be put into MINUS membership is the pin is reversed.

The way they get pins I believe is not illegal, it is a type of phone that allows a certain amount of quota of SMS text purchases. It works something like this, You pay 50$ a month like any phone plan, with this plan comes a certain amount of quota you can use for purchasing stuff with this phone. The reason they do this is because they hope for you to go over and charge you for all of it.

    This method is not illegal.

However ********s are illegal and are banned from sythe.

Also if selling pins where illegal sythe could have been shut down a while ago easily by Jagex....

If you're selling pins that come from a home or Mobile phone, then it's not illegal, but I believe against Jagex's TOS. It is useless selling these on Sythe, as you lose $7.

Pinlines (The main way people get pins) are ILLEGAL. You are stealing money from Telstra (an Australian Phone company.)
