And yea, a lot of the suggestions in the forums were a lot better than Dungeoneering is... but they probably didn't want someone to have the "bragging rights" for being the creator of the thread which spawned a new skill.

You know what I find funny. You people keep comparing RS to WOW. I'm pretty sure there were game concepts that WOW copied/modified from other MMORPGS...

If you dislike RS that much, just leave. You continue your hypocrisy by bashing Jagex while still botting/playing a game or lurking in "Runescape" forum

 

I agree, the first time I went looked like a shit version of mana-tombs and left it at that.

 

Someone on this forum said that a high boss off Blizzard joined Jagex and helped to make RS better :'). That explains why all the updates look like WoW.

It honestly doesnt matter to me since i only bot, but now that i think about it that is pretty "similar", gay jagex.

 

Dungeoneering is alright, but the thing that is fail is level 120.

 

No they won't ever be like blizzard. But neither game is that fun, runescape offers cheaper prices thus makes them the more favorable for long term playing. furthermore Blizzard has copied most there game idea's from other games as well. to complain because one game copies another is pointless. They make games so gamers will play them. Why wouldn't they take idea's from other games that gamers tended to like.

I will however say that dungeoneering was a bad idea in my opinion.

Copying Blizzard? Blizzard is NOT the first company that introduced the concept of dungeons nor will they be the last. Both concepts borrow from mythology and the actual systems are nothing alike.

If you're going to get off with those sorts of accusations then you should have the company that made Everquest sue almost every modern MMORPG for stealing their innovative HUD because they were the first to do that.

Tbh, I was hoping for more of an Exploration skill, would've been a lot better. To the person who said the HP update started this nonsense, there has just been an odd feeling when playing this game after that...Now it is just blah.

I'm not going to complain and make comparisons to other games, the changes in general have ruined the feeling of the game.

 

in a years time youll see it changed to like world of runescape/gielinor of warcraft, somet crappy like that. They've become so intent on making it like wow, they forgot how runescape should be!

 

I already mentioned said items though I didn't go into as much detail as you but you are also wrong. they may have been one of the more pretty gmaes but there are text games with the same aspects that are older than everquest also those games could then be sued by who ever makes games like D&D and other games like that [not into all that bs so i can't name them] but I know there older than any MMO.
