How to create a Paypal Donation button.

Introduction.

I got motivated into writing this guide to help those who posted in the Help section, asking how to make a Paypal Donation button.

Guide.

First, go to this link:

https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_donate-intro-outside

Click the "Create your button now" link as shown in the picture.

You should see a new page that looks like this:



Fill all the information in and click "create button" when you're done.

You should see a screen that looks like this:



Right click the Donate image and click "Copy image URL". When you've copied that, go to your "Sythe Control Panel" and click "Edit Signature". Put tags around the URL and paste it in your signature.

After that, as you can see in the picture, you have two code options, website and email. Click "[B]email[/B]" and copy everything in the box.

Next, go back to your "[B]Sythe Control Panel[/B]" and highlight the whole image URL you've pasted, [IMG] tags and all.

Next, click the "[B]Link[/B]" button. It should look something like this: [IMG]http://img.sythe.org/nextgen/editor/createlink.gif

Input the email code you've copied from Paypal into the box. The code of your signature should look something like this:



After that, just click "Save Signature" and you're done!

Good basic guide. Obviously I use this concept myself as seen in my sig. Pictures are included with basic explanation. A bit basic of a concept, but helpful nonetheless. 7/10. Keep up the good work.

But honestly, an hour? This would take about 3 minutes to take the pics and upload, then about 4 minutes to write the process ; )

Great guide, I didn't realize that it was that easy. I am thinking of making one for myself, once I get more trusted.
