Starting out with PayPal

Hey there Sythe Members,

I have been inactive on this site for a really long time but I was wondering if someone could help me out with the procedure for starting up a PayPal account that can both send and receive money.

I am aware that you need a credit card, is there a specific account type you need to do transactions both ways, or any other requirements?

Also, can someone please explain to me why most people request that you use the "gift" option when sending amounts?

You dont need a credit card to make a paypal that can send and receive, you simple need a random Canadian address and zip code, why? Canadian premier accounts come with a spending limit of anywhere from 3-4 thousand dollars and can receive money.

The "gift" option is used because people think its unable to charge back a gift, there wrong, it is simply more of a process, gift is probably still the safest way but it is possible to be charged back.

You dont need a credit card, however if you have one, and plan on trading frequently on Sythe, it wont harm you at all by adding one. Or, you can link it to a bank account, which will also give you the ability to buy/sell.
