Explanation of the trade: I sold them $100 worth of osrs gp, i requested btc as payment.
How they scammed: When sending a payment in btc you have to pay a small fee. The fee is in "satoshi's". Basically for your transaction to be approved by btc miners, the fee has to be at minimum 14-15 satoshis. If you pay less than that, the transaction will sit in the pool until it is eventually ejected from the pool, and the btc is returned to the sender. As long as you pay the correct fee amount, your transaction is accepted usually within 10 minutes, up to maybe an hour. Because of Probemas trying to pay the minimum fee amount, my transaction has been in the pool for 4 days. Eventually it will be ejected, and probemas will get their money back. However when i attempted to contact them about this, they simply stated they don't know how btc or the blockchain works, and would not issue any refund, or resend the payment with the correct fee amount.
**For those wondering, the difference between 4 satoshi and 15 satoshi, is about 20 cents. you'll see in the screenshots that a previous sell i made to a different company paid 32 cents in fees, where probemas only paid 12 cents, and thats the difference between a 10 minute wait, and an ejection from the mem pool**

Hey, the transaction in question was confirmed on November 19th.
We've used a standard fee for this transaction, but looks like unusual increase in bitcoin network volume has caused a delay.

 

Has this been resolved?

I believe everyone who does transactions with crypto knows that 5 sat is not a standard fee rate. The transaction went through how many days after? I posted a transaction with a standard fee rate, it was completed in 10 minutes, therefore it was not an “unusual spike”. You deliberately made a 10 minute transaction into a 6 day transaction over 20 cents. Yes it’s resolved because I got my money, but it should still be stated that your claim to pay “ASAP” is functionally a lie.
