Thinking about getting a VPS to bot on...

I do have some questions:

- which VPS provider do you recommend? I'm looking for nothing more than $20.00 a month.
- does a VPS have its own IP-address, so that if an account gets banned, it doesn't make JaGeX track my other accounts, with which I play on my laptop?
- how many different bots can be ran on one VPS?
- I've already got AutoSW running on this comp. For another one to run on my VPS, do I need to buy another SW auth key?

A VPS is an entirely different computer somewhere else in the world with a different IP

 

Granitemaul0, you worded it fine. He doesn't need a separate auth unless he plans on running the script on both his computer and the VPS simultaneously.

 

I do, so Tofurocks was right in this case. Already got the VPS running, from x10hosting.com.

Hope 512 MB RAM (unbursted) can handle AutoSW.

Yeah so when you bot and you get caught, you can explain in your appeal that you got hacked, and chances are, you might get unbanned.

Well for runescape botting burst.net is great. Been using now for month. 0 downtimes, 1 restart. Currently 3day proggy going on.
