what was your biggest fail in runescape?

My biggest fail is going from 5m -> 100m in one day, then going from 100m -> about 500k in the same day all back when there was staking, you can bet i quit lul

 

lmao ive done that before bought 4m cannon balls. dced and lost em all!

 

i was being stupid and went out in pvp with my bandos godsword in 2007, the week it came out. i got barraged by a hippy mager and DDSed super fast..

what do you know? 0hp, and all of a sudden i'm sitting in lumbridge from the goddamn death.

 

I was a staker myself, i know the feeling.

 

I was PKing in a PVP world with Regen Bracelet, Obby Cape, Dragon Claws, Rune Plate, and Dragon BattleAxe...

I activated "protect one item" and forgot that the prayer protected the item of the largest wealth by alchemy values.. not street/G.E value. I lost Dragon Claws and quit Runescape..

 

Staking 8m and forgetting to bring my dds.

 

back in the time when i played on my first char i trained fletching/staking.
i had just fletched 5k yew longs so i went staking bringing the money from the yew longs i sold and another 2mil + whip and elegant chest and dds.
this was kinda late on night so i was tired and i get there and a guy asks to max on me for 100k so i trade him to show how many items i have so he can give me sharks so i forget i had my stuff in the window and accepts trading whip dds elegant chest and 5mil for 100k and about 15 sharks

 

Sorry i laughed.

Mine would probably be, placing my trust with the wrong person, lost about 80M.

2000 and something first fail my first account joelanxton managed to get 40 defense to equip my legendary rune armour matching my blue purple p hat, i got it all on without looking i opened another window to go on forum to post pictures i didn't realise i typed username and password on runescape then i realised i was like shit logged out changed my password succesfully went to log on and i'd pressed another key that i didn't know i swear i've tried every combination but i don't care anymore, if your interested in 450m or whatever they are now

i was so happy with how good i am at pking and ejoyed it.
i got hacked and i wasn't rs hacked
my computer was 600gbp on my paypal taken, email excetera what sort of noobs checks to see if i have a good rs account too if your interested in 600gbp..

 

I guess the biggest fail of mine I can think of was getting keylogged about a month ago, then recovering my account on the same comp that had the keylogger because I wasn't thinking at all, and also logging onto my paypal and e-mail before I knew had the keylogger
So yeah he got my account twice, died in a pvp world with around 120m, attempted to take out $1500 from my paypal account (didn't go through cause I didn't have any money in there though)

I can think of a few things but once I was pking at the rock crabs with a dbow and shit and just as I was about to put my prayer on while I was attacking an easy target, I got jumped by a beast dds spec from some guy 10 levels higher than me. Bye bye 500k loot, dbow and some other shit.

 

True Stories

Spent 4 hours staking on my last 500k and earned my way up to 40m cash.
about 10 minutes later after the praising of my 39.5m I earned on THE LAST 500k I had, I staked it all but 1m (39m) and DC'ed. FML? (Back in '07 when you could still stake)

While merching in World 2 with a friend (on the same stake account), my connection decided to DC AGAIN. I log back in only to see 3 of the 25 Dharok's axes with a PM from my friend telling me I died from a strange plant.

I owe nothing but a big FUCK YOU to Comcast/Time Warner Cable for making me sit on a stupid game and click shit to be enjoyed again. I've moved on and am technically only on runescape to pk or bot.

My biggest fail would have to be getting defence on my 99 strength pure back in the day. Today I have a 99 strength pure that I made last year, but pking just isn't anywhere near as good...

If this counts, not buying a fury along time ago for 4m...the way it costs now is just ridiculous. could of made quite a bit.

 

My Biggest fail was the day I entered www.runescape.com for the first time ever... I regretted it ever since, my 2nd biggest fail was actually making a username and password for it.

 

Basically sums it up for me too. Spent the last year of my life learning everything about a game I don't play =|
