I was recently addicted to poppy seed extracted morphine. But I learned that marijuana can pretty much help you with any addiction.

And as for the amphetamine addiction, do not worry about the FBI. I know you have not slept, but try not to have bad trips by thinking that amphetamines are illegal. The only illegal amphetamines are methamphetamines in most countries.

So smoke a joint, stop stealing and relax. You aren't the first person to have troubles. Everyone who tries to get by always gets by, it is only a matter of time.

Smoking marijuana does not ease the withdrawal symptoms from amphetamines or any drugs that you are heavily addicted. It could help with the cravings but not when trying to quit them.

Usually for medications they do tappers. Which is decreasing your dosage every week lower and lower until you no longer need to take them, but forso me it is not as easy as that which would require you to do a detox.

Please dont try to quit cold turkey...it is extreamly hard to just STOP. Going to a detox would be the best suggestion.

EDIT: also heavy amphetamine use causes paranoia...so relax no ones gonna come busting in.

Marijuana has shown to have some varying potency as an antiemetic, although polypharmacy "fight fire with fire" doesn't exactly work, it is as silly as taking methamphetamine for a blocked nose

One of the hallmarks of neurotoxicity from amphetamines is is the loss of DA uptake sites in the striatum and accumbens. Studies have shown these transporters after chronic amphetamine reported decreases in the range of 30–40%. The frightening aspect of amphetamine abuse is not so much the acute withdrawals and wearisome recovery phase, but rather the permanent damage sustained that results in chronic depression.

Cold turkey simply does not work, no one has that much will power to overcome physical dependancy with happy thoughts.

It is a misconception that all or most drugs are addictive, the term itself stems from the belief from the 1920s where you are simply "drawn" by the drug; Reefer Madness is quite the film to watch, it claimed one smoke of marijuana would diminish even the most educated godfearing law-abiding gentleman into a mass-murdering maniac with no regard for life.

Dependency comes physically and psychologically, while there are no observed withdrawal symptoms from amphetamines, psychologically; the highs and lows pattern does develop quickly.

Reading post on sythe is not going to make your problems go away. You need to know what you did. You need to know that YOU killed your sister theres nothing thats going to make her come back. YOU need rehab and talk to a doctor. I'm pretty sure that no one on this thread is a doctor also. You got step one done, admiting your problem. I can tell you that once you are clean it will feel good but you will want your drug back

Unfortunatly for Winston, its NOT that easy. You simply cant "give up" drugs after being hooked in, espically with amphetamines. Also, Necromancer, the reason WHY he cant sleep at the right times is because amphetamines keep you up.

What you DO need to do, is speak with your mother, and your other loved ones, and talk about it. Then, it will be hard, but it will be the best decison in your life, get to rehab.

i'm on amphetamines for my ADHD. one 60mg dose everyday. i can feel stress when i haven't taken it. but it tastes aweful. i've been taking them for 8 years now, and i think i'm addicted. but meh, you seem like your having serious troubles.
    A. Go join some clubs, start interacting socialy.
    B. Computers don't give the same buzz as having true friends, but don't try to hard for friends or they'll walk all over you.

Hope you get off them mate :)

First of all, dont listen to the stupid pot head who said not to go to rehab.
Tbh its one of the best things you can do.
I have been addicted to pills, and did cocaine on rare occasion.
Cocaine isnt a good high, and the pills were making me blank out for hours even days.
Eventually my girlfriend made me go to rehab, I've been clean ever since, and tbh one of the best things that ever happened to me.
    Its your choice.

First of all you need to get off the drugs. You most likely will not be able to do that yourself and I recommend you call Dawson McAllister, he runs a radio show called Dawson McAllister Live. He helps so many people out with problems whether it be drugs, alcohol, sex, abuse, he has a website www2.thehopeline.com/ which you can contact some of his workers for help. But really this is a very serious matter, you are going to be wasting money to kill youself.

You obviously have an addictive personality you should cut down on anything that you see you could be addicted to, first the drugs then the games because you play the game then you do the drugs and its a spiral.

Speak for yourself, I used to smoke cigarettes and just quit in one day, I was smoking for two years. But not everyone can do it, if you're weak, just go to rehab.
