how long does rwt flag stay?

decently high level account got flagged for rwt, what does this mean for the account and is it still usable if i don’t ever rwt from it again but i will be borrowing tbow and other high value items. can i still trade with the account for raid splits and how long will the account be ‘flagged’ or ‘monitored’ for?

 

there's no public statement from jagex about this (of course)
if you dont RWT, you won't get flagged.
jagex is able to see the difference between a "loan" and a "split"

i can tell, on one of my actual accounts, i have moved large sums on a loan/split basis and never got flagged / banned.


regardless the odds of actually getting a RWT ban are quite slim in my opinion, as long as you're not messing with f2p level 3's

 

probably forever after ur first rwt warning/ban. pretty sure ur good with loans/splits.

 

Once your flagged, yeah it doesn't go away. They will just prolly perm you next time if they suspect anything

 

No, next action after a warning is temporary ban(s).

They don't just permaban their customers on a whim.

 

yea it's not as easy to see if its rwt. if I was traded 300m id accept it. so, perms are either for people who have been banned like 3-4 times with temp bans or if you're selling gold, they hit you with the perm. The whole flagged thing is strange to me. idk how real it is or how long it stays. I'd say after a month you're back to the same odds. I got a warning which id assume puts you on the flagged list and bought 5-6 times after that. only get temp ban when I bought 300m on my alt that's ftp and traded it to my main on ftp world also. rookie mistake.

 

I think buying/selling gp will get you perm ban either way. Doesn't matter if you play the account, no need for a rwt warning when they will just perm you

 

I dont think they will ban after a period of time if you do as you said for splits/loans. Rogueosrs is right in saying you will however be flagged forever. And I would imagine if you RWT again on the account ( or first time..) it will get banned in time no questions

 

That is factually incorrect. It's often best to not voice your opinion on the topics you have no knowledge about.

Jagex has vastly different approach for sellers and buyers.
Buyers get a warning, then a temporary ban, than a second temporary ban, and 4th offence can lead to permanent ban.
Sellers get a permanent ban on first offence.

To avoid headache, it's best to change buying account if you get a warning/temp ban. As long as it's not a fresh lvl3, it'll work just fine.

With that in mind, RMT warnings/bans for buyers are still very rare. Less than 1% in my experience.

yeah do you have any knowledge on this? What happens to your gp if you buy items/gp after you've gotten a rwt warning on ur acc already? Do you get a temporary ban and items/gp removed. Would love to hear your opinion on this. If it hasn't happened to you, then dont express ur opinion.

 

yes they do, I caught a rwt perm ban for selling 225m first offense lol, 1800+ total level account

 

ive had multiple accounts perma banned first offence for buying. but then ive also had accounts get temp bans. i feel like it all depends on which anticheat member gets assigned ur account.

 

Selling and buying is treated differently. Selling gold is risky and always results in permaban. Buying is significantly less risky, and gets a warning and 1-3 temporary bans before it turns permanent.

This can happen if you're buying on fresh lvl3 accounts, or buying on accounts that match a profile of a known botting farm. If you buy gold on an actively played account, chances of getting permanent ban on first offense is close to 0.
The worst that can happen is removal of purchased gold. So far that is happening to fewer than 1% of all buyers that get warnings.

 

not true at all. all my account that got permed first offence were high level accounts and not part of any bot farm. if ur buying like 50-100m at a tiem then yea ull get a temp, if ur buying like 1b+ ur prolly gonna get a perm. but liek i said it all depends on what anticheat member takes ur case. some are more linient than others.

Information I provided comes from experience of thousands of trades.

I am not sure what you gain from creating fantasy stories like this. The only occasion a gold buyer would be permanently banned on first trade is if he broke other rules, such as macro usage (botting). As is common knowledge, on rare occasions bot users get applied RWT penalties to prevent them from appealing account suspension in the future.

 

The irony here is hilarious.

I received a 2 day ban for RWT minor. They banned two of my accounts, one is a 2K+ total main, the other is a maxed 1 defence pure. Both accounts get played daily. I haven't bought gold in nearly thirty days, and when I did buy, it was not from a big Sythe gold seller. I never received any RWT warnings. First offence double account ban.

 

it's pretty much a coin flip concerning Jagex and bans. sometimes you get a perm right off the bat, sometimes you get a 2-day.
