Yews!

I've always waited until level 80 woodcutting. The time to cut a yew before 80 is not worth the profit, in my opinion.

Always remember to use the best hatchet you can get, which is Rune for F2P and Dragon for P2P. Many people say Dragon is not worth it, but it still reduces the cutting time.

 

I'd start at 85 for quite high exp and really fast yews
