Need World Of Warcraft Help!

Hi guys,

I used to play WoW about 3 years ago I think, I got bored quite quickly due to a bad server that I must have chosen when starting out.

I want to go back but I don't want to buy the discs again, am I able to download the game online then make my account members like on Runescape?

I am going to change my account on world of warcraft because apparently alliance is bad so I'm going to go on Horde.

This time around I want to chose a decent server with a big community.

Any information would be great...

also will I be able to play this client if I upgrade or do I need to download like 20 hours worth of patches after the 10 day trial is up?

 

Are you trying to get your account set-up all online? If so...you can do that. I think you can purchase the CD-Keys off their site and you can pay for game time on the site by Credit Card...and if you don't want to use a credit card you could look for a good site that sells game card codes and accepts PayPal or whatever you are using...

There are places to download the game online. However, you must have already updated your WoW Accounts with the codes from the discs or you must buy the regular game and its expansions again.

Alliance may not be abundant as Horde on your Server. Sometimes it depends on the ratio of the factions on the server, but in most cases it has to do with players, their character, and skill level.

If you want to do that, look at the server population. However, I would advise not joining a server with a high population, as the game will most likely lag unless you have a gaming computer. (Alienware ftw?)

You will be able to use the client I believe, but you'll have to download the updates as needed for whatever version of the game you have.

 

You are no longer able to use the trial client for the main game. You actually have to get the vanilla client. =(

 

Sadly true. But you should look on the wow forums under realm and see what each server is like, every server is different and their is a lot to pick from.
