Hey sythe, im selling smuggled dungeoneering items. These items are to be considered rare since they are no longer obtainable because the method used to smuggle them out has been patched.

No, you can't wear the items. These are kind of like mint cakes or rare edibles. They're just for collecting, not to be worn.

if these items disappear when you log out. They are deemed as junk since they have no real purpose. If not how much each piece

 

They don't dissapear when you log out, they dissapear if you attempt to wear them or drop them, that's why i have them noted in the picture.
They can be traded/alched or whatever. I see people using these as a merchanting tool because the items have a street price and they're rare (not discontinued) because the only way to smuggle them out of the minigame has been patched.

If there is no way of getting these items then they must be rare like other p hats, masks, santas and so on. It would be interesting to see if the general rs population understands that and uses them for trading.

I was reading through the patch notes on the Runescape forums from April 28th, and Mod Srowley says this:

"All Dungeoneering items that are outside of the dungeons (excluding reward items, of course) have been removed from the game."

Does this not apply to the items you are selling?

No it doesn't. I logged in just now and checked and my items are still there. So everything is still for sale.

 

NO.

This is useless because people collect rares etc because they have a GE PRICE and they rise slowly as time passes, this= no value, nothing beside personal gratification even though you can't show it off unless you trade.

 

These aren't worth anything because they are useless, nobody in runescape uses them in the rare market so if you bought these all you could do is stare at them.

 

So in other words, they have the same purpose of....

- an easter egg
- A pumpkin
- A disk of returning
- Cracker's
- Half Wines
