HUGE Botting Question!

What would happen to my account if I reported someone for botting while I was botting too? (The person didn't report me)

 

Depends if Jagex discovered you were botting or not..

depends on some different situations:
- How many players reported you in wich time
- How long are you logged in on the same spot
- What are you botting
- Wich Jagex mod is checking the reports
- What bot are you using
- ect...

in short, no one can say it for sure

 

They cant bann you. They can only bann if some1 report you and (if) Player moderator saw you were botting.

 

Why would you want to do that anyway?

 

I was using the Paid Auto Miner Pro from RSBots.net.. Also, I was on a pvp world at Rimmington mine doing M1D1 on the Iron Ore. I doubt any mods saw me nor did someone report me..

 

Why would you report someone for botting if you was botting anyway? That's a stupid thing to do... Depends on the situation and how you were botting, if you were taking breaks etc. I doubt you'll get banned though.
Anyway, you can delete your own posts, click edit and then delete...

Lol. I am not going to bot for awhile. I am 73 mining.. I reported the kid because he was reducing my exp per hr.. It's ok though, after i reported him, I hopped on my lvl 22 noob and raped em.

 

Thats a sick move and your a hypocrite if you do that. Reporting someone for botting when you bot is sad dude. Anyways my advice don't do it because it just adds unwanted attention to you.

 

I don't think it will increase your chance of a ban, as they shouldn't look at your account at all when they receive the report. I have done it before without being banned (a few months ago when there was a level 10 obviously using RSBot).

 

I always do it to people who are obviously botting, like lately I've reported tons of people for using a fail master farmer thiever that misclicks to the stalls and doesn't run when the guard attacks. After reporting I usually wait a few mins and add the person to my friend list if they're high level or rich and every now and then check if they've been banned. People who bot on some +100cb accounts while they're afk deserve to get banned.

E: I've also noticed that people like to report skillers and high levels most, so I usually disguise my accounts as poor 25-50 cb's, that nobody pays attention to. For example, I've botted 55-83 fishing in f2p at karamja without seeing anyone directly to me more than once or twice asking for a fire.
