[WinVista] Problem - Can't bot after laptop lid closed [VISTA]

Problem with botting overnight/when laptop lid closed...

I close my laptop lid, and the bot stops (I lose internet connection)... I'm not sure why though, here's a picture of my current power settings:


Can anyone help?

 

Have you set the battery settings to maximum power?

 

set your advanced settings for performance, see if that helps

 

Go to the thing where it says
.. after 5 mins, go to sleep
or whatever. change it to never

there was a guide somewhere i think if your wireless you cant shut your lid.

 

I have a Dell Inspiron with Windows 7 and I close lid and it works fine. I run on a wireless connection too. Vista is probably pretty similar.

 

I have this exact same problem; I have to leave the lid open, but turn on an auto clicker.

 

Nope... Example: I set the settings on the bot, it starts and I make sure it's OK... I close my lid, go eat, come back, and I open the lid. My bot is still on and just shows and error that says like "NOT LOGGED IN", etc. I know that I lose wireless... but then a minute after my connection comes back and the bot logs in and does whatever it's supposed to.

Why the autoclicker?

 

I believe when you close your labtop, the wireless adapter turns off does it instantly on my labtop. I think the only way to keep your bot up is to keep it open.

 

Leave the lid open under your bed

 

Screensaver might be interfering? Make sure you have your Screensaver turned off.

 

I have a laptop. (Acer Extensa 7620G) and im running on wireless too. I can fine close my lid without anything happening.
Have you set ur battery to maximal power or w.e the name is.

Or try this.
go into the advanced power settings and find something that says something about ur wireless card. Change it to maximal power. Might work Thats what mine is

 

To stop my computer from sleeping itself.

I've come up with a problem to your solution. I tried my laptop with your settings, it didn't seem to work. I then just left the bot on, and ran a simple auto clicker that was clicking onto my desktop running, then pulled down my screen. If that doesn't work for you something must be fucked up.

Hope some of this gets to work for u, botting sucks if u cant close down the lid!

 

Everyone having problems. All you need to do is go to advanced power settings, and go to where it says something like "Lid Closed" and set it to nothing. Make a custom power plan for JUST botting or something. Thats what i do.

 

I will try that with an autoclicker.
