    fibonacci numbers?

for those of you unfamiliar with fibonacci numbers (the golden ratio?)

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fibonacci_number

what is your opinion? What is so "perfect" about it? How come many great philosophers (Plato, Euclides, Da vinci, ect...) from different civilizations (Renaissance, Roman, French, ect...) have dedicated a majority of their lives to "deciphering" it?

    fibonacci numbers?

Before the equations started to hurt my brain more than is necessary after a sleepless night, I understood that a guy found a neat way to arrange squares. I don't feel a need to decipher it, it looks pretty simple. Of course, Wikipedia wants to say "no, it's not simple". I'll have a look at it later.

Maybe someone rested could make more sense of it.
