Looking to report a scammer.

Situation

Sold a runecrafting account to Havik for an agreed 170m, 15m of which was to be paid 1-2 days later.

Sold on 3rd November, agreed 15m additional payment 4/5th November depending on timezone.

I waited patiently giving him the benefit of the doubt, messaged multiple times and tagging him with no response.

This drags on to the 8th November, upon which I actually sent an additional message which didn't go through because he had blocked me. (This is not pictured in the screenshot because by the time I got the screenshot he had unblocked me because I had recovered the account, the message disappears).

When I saw that he had blocked me (received discord message that I cannot send a message to said user), I knew he never intended to pay the additional sum and went on to recover the account. I have now also blocked him on discord so as not to receive any accusations.



Solution

Happy to resolve this in any way the moderators see fit, I have access to the account now as I recovered it after he blocked me. But I still think he is a scammer and should be dealt with.

Note: In his spam on my threads and profile, he has claimed he mass reported the account and whatever else, so in the case of a ban on the account - it is clear as to why.

Update: he is also now trying to recover the account as I have received an email requesting a password reset.

If you actually read the post, I'm not denying having accepted the gold? Its the additional payment that is in question and your behaviour of blocking me after refusing to respond

Yes sure but maybe you should have thought of that before you tried to scam 15m worth, I'm not sure what the point of that was. Either way as I mentioned, happy to let the Sythe moderators agree on what action is required. Either way I think you deserve a ban for your actions even if the amount is small, who knows what you might decide to do in the future

Yup fair, but when he blocked me on discord I thought the intention was pretty clear so the account recovery was the reaction to that.

But happy to resolve the issue as suggested, would be good if you can middleman the trade - thank you.

 

Or you give me back the 155m and you keep the account, because I don’t want it to be taking back again. Because at this point you have the account and the 155m so idk how you’re calling me a scammer when you have both the money and the account?

 

Ahh so holding the 155m of my money and the account isn’t scamming got it.

 

this dude basically scammed me out of $60 worth of gold at this point when all that was owed was $5 hmmm and he recovered the account and still has me blocked on discord crazy

Honestly bro I appreciate you trying to help ima just move on from it. He obviously needs the 155m more than I do. it’s all good at the end of the day I know I didn’t scam this idiot and he blocked me on discord.
