How to turn YouTube Videos into MP3s

Have you ever heard a really good song on youtube, but can't find the MP3 download ANYWHERE?

Well, now you can do that with ease :love:

Firstly, find the youtube video you want to take the MP3 Track from:





Next, highlight the URL, right click it and select Copy:





Now, go to http://www.video2mp3.net and paste the link into the box:





Choose Standard or High Quality, then click convert. It will load for appropriately 10 seconds:





Once it's done, it will forward you to this page. Click download MP3:




You're done! Now you have your brand new music file ready to listen to

Short guide, but the layout is great. Good use of the middle column and colour. To develop it further perhaps you could say how to get it into iTunes. It’s helpful and neat. Well done.

OK, I'll give my opinion on your guide

First of all, this is one of those guides that need to be nice and simple for the reader, you did is spectacularly. It's Short and easy, and honestly something my Mum could follow. (Thats a big thing, I still remember trying to teach her how to use Google -.-)

It looks great, you've put in an image for each step, which not only helps the reader, but looks great.

The only thing thats lacking is that it does seem like a 10-15 Minute guide. Effort could have been increased. However, overall, you have done very well.

It was just a basic idea to start off with to be honest, to see what people thought. The feedback has been excellent so expect a more detailed guide soon when I think of a good topic. :love:

Nice guide. I've seen something similar. With use of the site mentioned too But that involved downloading a client.

9/10. I suggest editing the text so it looks nicer. Add colours

 

I don't really see how it is piracy. It's not like it's a torrent or warez, it's a free program and I'm simply education people on how to use it.

Hmm, this is different, I've never heard of the web site converter, I used DVDVideoSoft's YouTube to MP3 converter. This is good though, I'll be sure to try it out, it's definately much faster than the way that I use.
Anyway, very well set out and I love the simplicity, great guide well done.

 

Thanks :love: I used to use that (or at least something similar, it was a downloadable client) but it kept failing me, crashing and taking too much time. I find this method much more convenient and reliable.

 

Downloading a song without paying for it is piracy.

It's legal because what you are downloading is of youtube quality and not of cd quality. I'm gonna give a 7/10 due to originality-I made a guide to convert youtube videos to mp3's myself using a different method.

 

That's one of the dumbest things I have ever heard... It's piracy. It's illegal. It does not matter the quality.

 

Torrent and warez are free and we don't allow them. I could simply educate people how to use them, but it'd still be piracy. Plus, this guide has been made here before.

 

I agree with you, however it's not like i'm uploading these songs for you to download. Consider this an educational guide, hence User Education.

Yeah I used to use that but it has huge delays and the server is always full. Reminds me of another site that we all know and love.. :love:

Alright, I'm gonna retract that statement after doing some research. It's not piracy if what you are downloading is not copyrighted. There are plenty of non-copyrighted youtube videos out there, so I feel that this guide and the ones like it aren't violating that particular clause. It's not my decision though, this is just my opinion
