Mods not taking appropriate action.

Lately as most of you know, Harped has been evading a lot. Almost every single week, I see a new Harped account.

And my point is, mods are not banning him. There was a thread that Harped posted in on one of his vader accounts. Around 12 minutes later, a mod came in and posted. I'm certain he must have seen the Harped. Yet, it's been around 40 minutes and he hasn't been banned yet.

I know most of you like Harped so I expect to get flamed here. Go ahead. I've cared about your pathetic flames too much for too long.

P.S. If an admin wants a picture, I'd be happy to supply it.

 

The issue is, he's just going to evade again anyway. Which means there wouldn't be any rush.

 

Because they either like him, or CBA. I support unbanning him with a TWC and ban from market since he'll just keep evading.

You give me a better solution. Do you know how many % of Sythe's registered users are evaders?

 

I don't. I'm just concerned that mods seem to have favourites.

Unfortunately Paul, I think most Moderators have given up banning him :/ Because he has a Dynamic IP address- it ALWAYS changes. This means we can ban one account, even IP ban the account, but he can easily make another one seconds later and not be blocked from Sythe. Sure, mod's REALLY should just continue banning him if they see more of his accounts- but since he's on probably his 50th account... I doubt they will bother.

 

I see no point, when in the end he'll still be here. Watching.

Thats not the way to go. The will just evade there TWC's and Market bans. And Harped doesn't deserve to be unbanned anyway. He's broken the rules, which effictively got him kicked off the website, which is Private Property.

 

I ban him whenever I can, he just makes like 100 accounts a day, and in the end, not banning him first chance you can really isn't hurting anyone.
Edit: the rule is more directed to banned scammers who try to continue to scam. Spamming in the spam forum, and random feedback posts aren't too threatening.

 

He will always trespass on this Private Property. And it's not my call.

 

Not really favorites. Most people that actually know me, not just read whatever bullshit happens to be posted about me, know that the post I make are somewhat decent. That's what I did. When I 'ban evade' it's because I have a post to make, and I'm going to make it. Maybe these mods you think like me so much just want to see what I have to say. By the way, way to not name names, pussy. Me? I finish things.

Yes but the rule still applies to ban evaders.

 

I would ban him, but sectional's can only Temp. Ban - and that's ONLY for emergency's... which is why I hope a Global will see the member (this applies to ANY situation) and ban the person themselves.

 

None of us are going to delete our posts, you don't have to supply a picture.

It isn't a priority, he evades twenty or so times a day. I've banned plenty of his vading accounts, I'm not picking favorites.

If he attempted to scam, I would insta-ban him if I were a mod. His posts aren't random 'sdfsdnlknsf' and are worth reading.

 

Well I guess there's no way to keep him out. Why not just unban his main account then. >_> I mean, at least he'll stop evading.

 

Like I said before, it was made mainly to keep scammers out. Harped isn't causing drastic problems, therefore were are not using drastic measures.
