My Homemade Duct Tape Wallet. [Zipper & Velcro]

That's boss. You should make a cool design on it and make your own wallet business. 10$ each should be good Make a tutorial on how to make one.

And I might make a tutorial, but if I do, it won't be just one video. I'd have to make a separate video for each part, like the card slots, base, zipper, and velcro pocket, because it takes a while for each part.

I have one suggestion though! But i don't know if its possible to incorporate.
You know how 99% of wallets have a card slot on the left hand side, that has clear plastic over it? Most people have their license/ID in there so they can just open up their wallet and show that bit without having to take out their card. Thats the only thing i can think that your wallet is missing.


Example; (I just quickly googled it)

 

Ive actually been trying to get one of those on a wallet, but I can't imagine what material to use, and where exactly to put it.
I might get it in my next one.

Nice wallet but hardly worth the effort when you can buy one

 

It isn't all that complicated, just get a plastic sheath. Or a paper sized piece of plastic and cut it yourself (fold/staple as needed). Then cut out a piece of your actual wallet and slide it in.

 

Or simply measure out the dimensions of a typical ID, and make the face smaller, and put nothing over it. There's wallets that don't have any plastic coating over the ID, it's just folded leather that keeps it in place .

 

I think I got it..

For the I.D. Slot I'll use clear packing tape, I think it's the same size as duct tape.
I'll put it on one side And I'll make it fold down and beneath it will be the card slots.
Kind of hard to explain, I'll start making it today so I can show everyone. First I just need to get some clear tape, lol.

I honestly don't use it anymore, i use a different one that i made.

 

By far that is cooler than the Duct Tape Wallets they try to sell at stores. You should go to flee markets and sell your wallets.
