I was curious as to if people agree that I should invest in a Santa Hat and let sit an accumulate profit in the bank. I'm just worried that price will drop radically, due to the large increases it has experienced.

You should be set with a santa sitting in your bank. It's not unusual for a rare to dip in price, but it always bounces back stronger.

If you can afford it a partyhat is a much more sound investment, rarely any dips and a constant rise.

 

Well perhaps, but you wouldn't know when to dump or when it's going to crash. However, it's a good long, long term investment.

Hold a Santa for 10 years and then sell it. Guarantee you'd make 200M+ :laugh:

 

Well I'm sure in the long run they'll rise. This would be good if you're not looking for quick profit.

 

I mean I wish I could wait 10 years, but I'll almost be 30 by then haha.

I really doubt it's ever gonna go below 50m for a long period again. Since there are no santas coming to the game anymore occasionally someone loses 1 they are only getting rarer thus price going up.

 

i think that sounds like a great idea, rares are usually fairly stable and when they "drop" they rebound back up

Just dont panic and sell when they go down and you will profit in the long run.

 

Altough santas wave a lot, they always go up. They've gone up a lot in the past year.

Santa is probably the only readily buyable rare left, so should be a decent investment.
I was gonna buy 14 santas back when I wanted to quit, but then opted to go for a phat instead. Would have been happy with my santas too, though.

 

How stupid. That is flipping, not investing in a RARE.

OT: Snipe a Santa and hold onto it would an ideal merchant.

 

That advanced economical concept is too difficult for me to grasp :laugh:

But, that's for merchanting. I'm talking about investing in an item, and I'm probably going to go with the santa hat.
