Graphics Mod vs User Educator/OMM's

What is the importance of a Graphics Mod? None.

It's funny how a user educator or an OMM can do more work for this community, but because someone takes their time making signatures and explaining how to make signatures and tutorials for Adobe products, what makes them special enough to help run a community? Personally I think just a global should be assigned to the section instead of having a moderator who knows nothing about other parts of the community.

To Moderate the Section and make sure it's in order. Graphics Mods close thread, delete spam, and handle reports among other things. As a user, you won't see all that the Mods do. If one isn't "pulling their weight", per se, then they will be consquently demoted.

When you become a User Educator, you're expressing your interest in helping out the community. From my experience, when one becomes a UE, they naturally become a Mod for their persistent assistance of others. An OMM simply deals with helping others with transactions and I believe the majority of those who have been OMM have also obtained the rank of 'Moderator', excluding tmoe and Feren Silver, as they are relatively new.

In essence, the majority of those who help the community become Moderators, contradicting your argument.

T R 1 B A L has done a great amount of help for this website. He doesn't just sit around and make signatures all day, but guides those who ask for help, those who need specific things done, and the like. It is not wise to 'hate' on those who actually contribute to the community.
