Runescape ban excuses/evasion?

Can Jagex tell if your using a proxy while botting? Let's say your caught. Can you say that someone stole your account and botted on it? Would you get away with it? Also, what if you where to use a differnt computer. Like if I botted just on my sisters computer instead of my main one, therefore giving two different IPs.

 

It's been brought up many times and I highly doubt that it works. I'm sure jagex has thought about this before and I'm yet to see a successful macro ban appeal.

P.S I think your IP is based off of your router, no?

 

I'm not sure if you can use a proxy with Runescape but if you can it would be possible. But playing on your sisters computer won't change anything since you both have the same IP.

You could also buy a Wireless internet card and leech someone else his/her internet and bot on that IP (Against the law but hey who cares...)

 

Thanks for the responses. Your right about the IPs. They only differ by 3 digits. Yeah, I'm a new botter and I was just wondering if there was a plan B if banned. Doesn't look to good. Lol.

 

Just bot smart, and you should never have to worry about things like this.

 

Do they IP ban of just ban the account?

 

I believe they just ban the account but who knows, correct me if I'm wrong. I think you only get IP banned if multiple of your accounts get banned for breaking major rules but once again, correct me if I am wrong.
