Account based. But once you have an account banned from your ip, they'll flag your ip.

They ban people through there macroing detecting systems, they do not release much about it, since people could try and develop a script so it's impossible to detect, If you have a lot of reports you can become flagged.

If you happen to bot, bot smart as they say. Don't leave the bot on for hours and hours un attended and what not. Try to talk while you're botting in order to make it more "human like".

All in all, just dont be stupid and leave it on 24/7. Especially if you're leaving it in a popular area like hunting red chins.

In relevance of the part with red chins ive suicided 3 99 hunter's.. and none have been banned. Reason why? because everyone else is a bot so no reports

Your Ip will be flagged. and if you try to bot again you will be looked at more then some one who hasn't been flagged.

So than if I use an alt on my laptop and bot that alt. Is there any chance at all for my main that I play with (never botted) on my desktop to get banned. I've never botted before so if it's a first offence it shouldn't be a full IP ban right? If I'm ever caught that is.
