Why do people cover up Stats/Items?

When people post pics of their acc when selling or W.E, they usually cover up some of the less important stats. Why is this? I dont think you could hack an acc by just knowing the stats.

I understand, covering up the username, but not stats.

Also some other ppl cover up some of the items they have in their acc.

I dont know why ppl do this. Please explain to me.

 

Because jagex does visit this site and people don't want to take the risk of their account being identified and banned.

 

say i had 76 fish, 44 wc, 25 fm etcetc its very hard to get exactly same stats as someone else so jagex may be able to track down? just a theory

Well, actually jagex cant acces this site. The only possible way would be with a proxy which is why their banded and i'd doubt they'd put in the efort to use one or even at that if they did have acces to look up and band people. Ask any staff and they would confirm what im saying.

 

Fear of getting banned and just being paranoid.

 

err so some guy who works for jagex goes home to his personal computer and is banned from sythe? seriously do u even think about this thoroughly...

 

They have since when the mod's surgeries were posted here a jmod said they saw it.
