    Drinking.

    Does drinking change peoples life?
Does it make them tell lies and make them angry.

That's kind of a broad question. Tell us a bit about yourself.

Drinking in moderation (ie no more than 3 drinks in one sitting) doesn't have any serious affects, unless you do it every day.

Binge drinking (more than 5 drinks in a sitting) can be extremely dangerous, both directly through brain damage and even alcohol poisoning, and indirectly through driving, reckless behaviour and so on.

As for telling lies and anger, that's really too broad for a conclusive answer.
Drinking consistently can build up an addiction (ie becoming an alcoholic), and this does lead to aggression in some cases.

In any case, drinking in moderation is not particularly dangerous, but there is evidence that in the long term it will do your body damage.

    Drinking.

It does if you drink in excess. Remember this: Anything in excess is not good for the health.

As for your other questions, drinking sometimes makes people tell lies. Especially if your girlfriend/boyfriend/parent don't approve of you drinking. "Son, have you been drinking? No mom". Lie right there.

To address your last question, drinking could cause people to get angry especially when people question their drinking habits. "I've been up all night waiting for you! Where the fuck were you? Out drinking again?". The logical thing for you to do is to shout or scream back.

So yes, drinking can do all those things. But then again, I don't know what you need advice on. Do you have a drinking problem?

Well, it can change peoples life, but I would think only if it becomes a very frequent thing. Teenagers drinking on the weekends is not a problem, at least in my opinion.

I don't know what they would have to lie about.

It could possibly make them angry if they are drunk frequently because they would be more sensitive while drunk.

Your girlfriend drinks at 14? Does her parents/legal guardians condone her behavior? Drinking is bad for the health, especially to a teen. It kills brain cells.

If her parents don't know of this, I suggest informing them of this.

Furthermore, ask her if she's kidding or if she's drunk. If she says she's drunk via text, show it to her parents so they can take appropriate action.

And they let her go, regardless? That is stupid. I suggest you bring this matter to her parents' attention anyway. If she doesn't change/her parents don't take appropriate action, then I guess you'll just have to let it go.

Just a note, there is evidence that alcohol is directly harmful to the brains of young children around your age.

Avoid drinking if it is at all possible, there is actually a reason why it is restricted to children.

Same, he has gone a month without drink though now
Moderate drinking, small amounts has been proven to help. A lot is bad though.

Not necessarily, both can result in anger, irritability and so on.

But, as Necro and I said before, in moderation (no more than three drinks), and if you're an adult, drinking will not have severe affects.

I think this question has been answered really. Everyone pretty much covered it.

Like it was said, anything in excess can be harmful.

As for your gf sending mean texts... it's called drunk texting/calling usually(from experience) i've done so in the past and they have all been either mean or happy, but if you are constantly getting these mean texts from her, then i think she is hinting you something.
