Once you sell a guide the item will crash when a few people know about it.

First of all, you're being misleading.
He simply asked if your guide depended on GE. He never asked if the price was stable or not.
And if the item is something not in high demand/supply, three people abusing the item could easily cause the item to crash depending on what it is, since very few people would be selling it, and making 2-3m an hour would most likely require a steady supply of said item.
If it's a common item that people buy often, then excuse me for assuming, but if it was common, people would have most likely found out about this by now, amirite?
