Why jad?

Ok, so here is my situation.

I started thinking about doing jad last friday. So I made a commitment to beat him and finally get the Fire Cape :nuts: .

Here are my stats:
combat 114
range:80
defence:91
hitpoints:86
prayer:64

The first attempt comes and I lose on wave 56 because, well it was my first attempt and I was getting used to it.
Second attempt, I finally get to Jad but he was on a slanted hill thing and I couldnt see what attack he made so of course. I died.
Third attempt, I get to Jad and im sooo nervous im shaking. Next thing I know. "You have run out of prayer points, Please recharge them at an altar." Forgot the drink prayer pot. :'(
Fourth attempt, I get Jad to half health and see his healers come out. I kill 3 and let 1 attack me. Next thing I know. BAM! Hits 84 on me and im left with 2 hitpoints left. Healer hits 2.
Fifth attempt, I get to Jad, hit one healer. All of a sudden. 0 hp. Dont ask how it happened because I have no fucking clue.
Sixth attempt, I get to Jad and exactly as his healers come out I get hit a 86 because I fucked up on prayer.

Now about an hour ago I took my Seventh attempt (honestly who the fuck loses to Jad 6 times) and im so pumped up to own this motherfucker. About a minute into our fight I get him halfway health and the healers start to appear. I get ready to kill one healer.
Then I see Jads feet hit the floor but no yellow cracks appear. So of course I thought it was magic attack. But apparently not because he hit a 45 on me. Me being confused as fuck thinking, WTF.
The fight continues until I kill 3 healers and I have 1 hitting me. Im attacking jad doing great, feelin good. Next thing I know I see Jad hit the floor with his hands and once again I see absolutely NO YELLOW CRACKS. He hits a 86 on me.

Now here I am confused, sad, ashamed, and most of all mad . I do not understand why im losing so much and why no cracks appeared on the floor yet I had magic prayer on and I got hit twice.
Does anybody have any idea wtf is going on or am I just losing my mind. Ive already spent around 4 Mil. failing at getting a firecape. Im thinking about just paying somebody to do it for me because I dont think im going to kill him till my 20th attempt. I seriously need some advice and I want to know if anybody els failed so much that they just gave up. Because everybody I talk to on RS say Jad is a piece of cake.

Tips and Help are greatly appreciated.

PS: I am thinking about giving it one last try tomorrow and if I fail again then I need someone who does firecape attempts for people I will be willing to pay you to kill him for me. I will get all the way up to the 62nd wave and you can do the rest. Somebody with lots of vouches please.

 

Your problem: You're not good at combat.

maybe try it on a private server 1st? personaly jad is pretty easy compared to nomad but then again neither are that hard....jagex made every monster beatable..you could also try watching some guides on youtube and maybe read up on it at runescape community.

Since when have they had a jad bot.

on subject: Your just wasting your time dude get to jad log out and let someone do jad for you, plenty of trusty options when it comes to jad.

 

I died at Jad twice and then got a trusted firecaper to do it from wave 60 for free. Easy shit.

 

The problem you're having (In my opinion) Is that you have low detail. If you botted before you probably set it up for the lowest detail (To make the bot function/working) and what low detail and does, is just takes away all the special shit out of runescape.

If that dosent work, put all to high detail I.e Ground Decoration on, etc.

 

you mightve been lagging, and Amit'z suggestion souds reasonable too.... or maybe you just didnt see it, you can always ask a firecaper...

Try and find a private server with Jad, and practise till you can perfect it, then you don't lose any money.

 

Thanks for all the replies. I think im going to practice on a private server until I get it on lock.

 

1) Make sure its not on lowest detail(like someone said above)
2) Just let someone else do it lol

 

You have several options:

Continue to try
Get to the wave before jad and get a trusted caper to do jad for free
Buy a cape from Usfine (actually buy a cape+rune defender because it's cheaper for w/e reas) -- I bought this and it's real, a lot cheaper then on sythe.

 

Does anybody know any good servers that I can practice with for Jad?

 

It looks like you just need to practice Prayer switches for his attacks. I assume you panic when you get hit and when the healers come out, so try to stay calm and be rational and clear-minded.

If you are desperate, there are a lot of people on Sythe who will be willing to complete it for you for free if you get to him and log out. Personally, I would recommend you finish it once by yourself as it is a great achievement and experience.

 

You could pay someone to do it for you? Preferably, in the Runescape Blackmarket Section.

You and Just about every one els who has never done jad.

This is why: Its your first go, I tryed it well over 30 times befor I got mine, itsnot easy other wise every one in rs would have one.
