Sythe... Sucks.

I came to Sythe thinking Oh i'll make a bit of money, meet some cool people and get some cheap firecapes/pins

I get scammed out of $20 trying to buy 1 F******G PIN!!!

The firecaper then gets me 21 defence on my 99 Strength 1 defence pure!!

I ignore one guy on MSN and he owns me with this mass add thing which took ages to sort out

yeh im pissed off, Sythe isnt what I thought it would be its full of low life scamming kids who dont give a crap about anyone

And when you go to report them the server goes down!?! Wtf!?

You should of used a trusted firecaper.

You should of used Middleman

 

There are never any middlemen on when I need them and I dont want to be payingl ike $6 for one when all I want is a pin!! Sythe should be more active with catching scammers and protecting members

 

Or you should be more active in finding people who won't scam you. There are plenty of trusted free middlemen. It is not sythes fault if you are retarded.

 

What are we supposed to do to stop scammers? Please share your ideas.

 

ok heres a few ideas off the top of my head..
IP Ban all scammers
Dont allow leechers to do trades
If someone is caught scamming they should have their personal information posted all about the web

 

I thought that happens anyway? It's not hard for them to jump on a proxy.

20 ish posts isn't going to change how trustworthy they are.

And what is this going to achieve? If you get scammed, feel free to do what you like with their information. I doubt anyone else really cares.

I don't mean to come across harshly, but there is an entire forum of worthy middlemen waiting for your pm on msn, in various timezones. Don't buy pins of hungry leechers, looking for a quick scam, look at their trade history and see how many satisfied customers they have. The same goes for firecaping.

 

Just use an OMM. Easy

 

All scammers are IP banned.

Not allowing leechers to trade would promote spamming throughout Sythe with everybody trying to get 25 posts to trade.

Not many scammers post all their personal information on a cheating forum, that being said, they're banned and that's that.

 

Use a trusted firecaper/pin seller and use an MM. None of the staff have anything to do with this, and as this section is for feedback on the staff I'm closing this. If you have any realistic suggestions for this site, please use the suggestions section.

Edit: Let me rephrase that. This section is for feedback on Sythe.org and its staff, not for feedback on trades conducted here.
