towards an isolated incident with no real reason (your family was killed/hurt, your friend was there etc)

If you were a psychopath, yes. If you had any bit of rationality you would only kill those who had bullied you. However, I don't think that very many murderers think that clearly, and certainly these ones don't.

We watched a documentary vid [bowling for Columbine], on this in my film appreciation class this year, this was a very tragic massacre. In the vid it showed exactly what had happened [that the school video cameras had managed to catch on tape]. It was sad to watch, and the even sadder thing is that they bought their bullets and guns from K-Mart that they used to kill the kids in Columbine High School. The two boys who did it how ever are dead, as they committed suicide shortly after they killed the students they wished to kill... R.I.P Students who were killed :(

People die all the time. Yeah, it's terrible, but thinking about it can't solve anything, nor could have it really been prevented. The thing about these shootings is the more publicity you give them, the more prominent they get. If these kids can't even get their name in the papers they'll be less motivated to do it. Yeah, one of the reasons kids do these things is to have their name down in history. Also I just thought that it was stupid that the last two posters couldn't think of one intelligent thing to say about the matter.

I heard that the main ones they wanted to kill they didn't get to. So they just killed a few randoms.

Fucking retards. How the hell do you go into a school with AUTOMATIC weapons, and only kill 13? They're a complete failure. I'm glad their dead, now we can piss on their graves.

Usually when plans don't go as expected, you tend to get less victims.

How can you say only 13? Okay think of 13 members of your family being dead your closest ones. Oh but you wouldn't be sad it's only 13.

See, but you are mixing with what people actually care about. Obviously someone would care if if were their family (assuming they get along with their family),instead of just someone they do not know.

But saying only 13 deaths is being a dick, 13 people is alot so If I associate the 13 with family members then they care.
