    How can I prove this?

    Hello!

About, a year ago I was banned from a Game called Lord of The Rings, and this was all down to my little brother. I decided that I wanted to join the game again and dispute my ban, but unfortunately proof is needed.

    This is my dispute.

" In this email, I will be disputing the ban given to Reckless123 a year ago.

Given that I have, in the past, disputed the ban already, it seems fitting to include the important details in this dispute that the previous ones lacked. Throughout this dispute, I seek to be truthful and to explain the situation fully.

The day before I received the ban, my brother and I got in a little row over a silly thing which involved losing him 100,000 gp on Runescape (RPG). This resulted in my brother wanting to get "revenge" and, as he knows the password to my Lord of the Rings account, he thought that he would do something bad on my account as ''pay back''. The day prior to the ban, I went shopping with a few friends. However, within that time my brother did various things which violated the rules, the account subsequently getting banned. I came home to having a ban message on my screen, and looked at the reason why I was given the ban. I then started to investigate. On Windows Live Messenger, my friends were angry about what "I" said to them, then they repeated what I said to them on Lord of the Rings, and I knew straight away this was to do with my brother getting revenge. I then asked my brother if he had done this, and he never admitted it at first but when he found out that it ended up getting me permanently banned, he truthfully owned up to it. In my previous disputes, I left out this crucial information, and hope you will consider these factors whilst dealing with my dispute.

This is my final plea, and whatever your decision may be, I will appreciate it and will not dispute my ban again. "

    " Hi Nouman,

Thank you for taking the time to get back to us with your questions.

As my colleague has informed you:

“You are entirely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and account. Furthermore, you are entirely responsible for any and all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify Codemasters immediately of any unauthorized use or theft of your account or any other breach of security (and to provide properly documented evidence as reasonably requested by Codemasters).”

To help guard against exactly the sort of scenario you have described we actively encourage players not to share their log in information with anyone, including friends and family.

In cases where there is evidence where an account has been compromised or hacked, there are procedures in place where an account may be returned to its original owner.
However we do require proof that the account has been compromised especially where an account has been banned for a breach of the Code of Conduct.

The sooner we become aware of an issue the faster and more accurately we can help.

From the situation you describe, it would be remise of us to give you a definite yes or no answer as we would need to see the matter in its full context, but would stress that prevention is far better than cure.
By keeping your log in information secure and running regular virus and malware checks you can easily prevent this sort of situation from occurring.

However, if you do ever have a concern regarding your account, a game or a ban or suspension we are always happy to look into a matter for you.

We hope this information is of help.
If you have any further questions do please let us know.

    Best regards,

    +Hrethgar

Well in your case, the story you provided was complete bullshit, the guy who answered your report doesn't believe you, nor would any person with a reasonable IQ. Now, to answer your question, unless you have CCTV footage of your brother on the computer which clearly shows your brother playing, as well as your providing shopping receipts from the "day at the mall with friends" then I'm sorry to break it to you, but they won't unban you. The guy only gave you the response because well, he knows he cannot prove it was not your brother, but he knows there's almost certainly no proof you can provide that it was him, so he leaves that burden to you.
