Make runescape less laggy..

HAIIIIIIIII X] Got my computer working again. Client is laggy as shitt. Tried setting the priority of the client to high but it still lags. Can anyone help? Everything is pretty much set to low so computer will run better.

try changing java settings to allow applets to run in their own process instead of browser process.. or dont use firefox. use a diff browser to play than the one you use to go on websites.

 

How much RAM do you have?

 

Run "disk defragmenter" and "disk cleanup". They will help make your computer run faster. Also make sure you have the latest java installed. Hope this helps you out.

 

If you have lots of RAM go into control panel, in programs, open up java, click on the java tab then click the "view..." button now you will see something like this:



Now change the number in that box, (mine is 1100) to set the new limit for how much RAM java can use.

I let mine use 1.1 gig of ram, the default is somewhere under 128 megabytes (i think, not sure).

 

Runescape and RunescapeHD runs off of like 128-512MB. If you can't run it in standard or HD, it's time to get a new computer, or upgrade yours man.
