Outdoors and News section

This section could be in the Off-topic category. It would cover

Some of the following topics could be involved in the Outdoors section:

-Automobiles; cars, motorcycles, boats, etc.
-Sports; Basketball, Football (soccer), American Football, Baseball, etc.


Since News has been popular in the General Discussion/ Off-Topic section, it deserves its own section.

 

I doubt the outdoors section would be that active, but I've always wanted a sports section (though it's on the do not suggest list>.>).

 

I agree with the News section but the Outdoors is like.. Most members here are 16 and below and most don't go outside.

I agree, I'd like a new place for sports discussion.

 

There is a large amount of sport interests though. My thread on "Who will win the 2010 FIFA world cup" Had large interest, same with Kadaj's "Top 5 Football players" as well as 333's one on NBA.

There is a large amount of sport/outdoor enthusiasm.

At least give it temporarily so we can show that it will be active.

News section, I honestly think news can go in off-topic/SFA.

I'd like the news section. There has been an outbreak of news in the general discussion forum. But I don't think it'd be that active.

 

To many people from to many places to have a news section.

 

Most people might not play, but follow a sport or enjoy spectating one.

 

I dont support this,it looks too much real life in forums lol.
And we dont have that much active users,to talk about evry sport.

 

A sports section would be great, but why a news section? You can just post that in the GF..

I and many others would like to talk about sports instead of always talking about games. >.>

Everyone posts news that is important in Something For All or Off Topic.

 

The Outdoors section could involve other things besides sports... Other things that could be included can be like: camping, or like discussions about interesting buildings, etc.

 

Not saying they don't but what I am saying is there are to wide of a selection, I play/follow "Rugby League" I highly doubt there are very many more people on sythe that enjoy it like I do...

 

You would be surprised, "back in the day" there were quite a few comparisons between American Football's and Rugby's toughness. Such discussions should be placed in the right section.

 

i support having a sports discussion category,
but as stated above, sythe is such a widely used site that there are just far too many different nationalitys to have a news section + wont be used imo.

 

American Football's were Gear and stuff, Rugby Leage Don't...

Since the Sports Section idea can't be suggested, the Outdoor Section can include sports.
