Rare Price crash + Great depression.

Great depression - I'm not making any money rly then. I had £150 worth now its like £90 fucking shit.

They have done, disk was 650, now 500m
Egg was 350 now 250m
Pump was 1b now 750m.

 

everything is crashing, the whole market is fked right now i cant buy or sell anything it seems

 

I miss the days of standing outside varrock big bank w2 to buy my items,when therre was no G.E

 

im pretty sure someone was harvesting rares and holding onto them with lots of accs like botted or something and holding it until the price went high, thencrash it

The value of the GP is decreasing therefore item prices are going up..

Deathstar if chessy was going to invest in santa hats she'd probably
buy atleast 1k.

And I don't play RS anymore but they could of just temporarily crashed
due to lots of people selling rares because a big merch item crashes, for example
when I played when a big wefightge item crashed we'd dump the item with rares and they'd dip for a few days.

 

The Royal Sceptre wasn't rare to begin with. It was an item that was new hence the high price. But now that royal items are being looted from Kingly implings at a decent enough rate, there are enough coming into the RS Economy for price to stabilize back to it's true price, the GE price.

 

I don't know where you're getting your prices from, but I'm pretty darn sure that they're off.
This sounds more like one of those failed attempts and price manipulation. Like, "OMG, guise!$!##@%$ Rares are gonna crash! sell them now!!#!$"

 

Considering the rate at which gp is still entering RS, I highly doubt that rares are gonna crash spectacularly anytime soon.

The current "crash" is a result of the following crashing items:

Chocolate bars
Diamond rings
Emerald rings
Sapphire necklaces
Earth talismans
Law talismans
Blood talismans (Very, very big reason 2000% rise in 180 days)
Geyser titan pouches

All of these items were dumped in the same week, and there is at least 100 billion total worth of junk floating around. People are desperate to get rid of it, so they are selling their rares cheaper. Give it a week, rare prices will be back up
