Are we all too negative..

I know jagex bring out the worst updates, and do the most stupid things, but some of the updates have been half decent like the Constitution, was no biggie but people had to complain

Your views on this, reck we expect too much, and perfection.?

Lol, it's just massive biased slander at Jagex for everything in the past. No matter how good the update is people will bitch and whine. Any mistakes will be glorified as the epitome of Jagex's failure, and all decent updates will be overshadowed by problems associated with it

 

Constition is the x10 hitpoint and damage, I like it better.

 

The new minigame(or skill some would say) ain't that bad when you think about it. Atleast people have a challenging 99 to get now

 

It isn't just we all want a quick skill that can get us to 99 within a few weeks

It's damn boring though.

trade limit
changing summoning so all granite sizes can be used

I could go on...runescape has gone downhill since the introduction of pure ess.

I got 99 theiving in a month, nowhere close to no lifing
got 99 cooking from 70 IN A DAY on my tank. so I have no idea what you're talking about saying rs is hard.

 

Yeah but what i'm saying is they are trying there best. I personally think they are idiots for removing trade limit but lifes lifes. Rs still make money at the end of the day. And i'm still making money (Just about).

Trade-limit, ruined runescape forever.

 

Not our fault jagex fucked up one of the best online adventure games ever made, we have a right to complain, they have made so many stupid decisions over thelast few years, I hope they do the thing with RS2 when in early 2007 with what they did with runescape classic and let people only regeister for 2 weeks then no trade limimt, that would be awsome, old wildy, no trade limite, DUEL ARENA, no overpowered weapons...ahhh those were the days.

 

I've liked a lot of updates: Grand Exchange, Moving the spec bar away from Defence attack, RFD gloves, DT. I think that the good updates overcome the bad ones. The main ones that have recently been mentioned were, of some sort, necessary; although they didn't need to remove the trade limit, it made the game much more fair--as a whole. Just as PC does. However, I never saw the point of PC, maybe it was necessary as people were gaining too many levels. But, now, people game levels at a similar pace with SW. So, I don't know about that one.

 

Constitution was a pointless and terrible update.

They're constantly trying to turn the game into a WoW look-alike. Check out the new main page.

 

That. TBH, after the trade limit update, it has just gone downhill. Pretty much.

They are trying to make money after all. WoW still has more subscribers, so I suppose they're trying to emulate WoW in order to surpass it?

 

The problem largely lies with JaGeX. They don't even bother to seek our opinion before releasing a controversial update(constitution).

 

They tried to change it to WoW and failed. Constitution was a pathetic update. Why couldn't it say as hitpoints?

GE Update was good though.

Of course we're too negative. People don't realize that Jagex's job is actually incredibly difficult, because they really don't have the ability to please the players because they have to appeal to their employees, bosses, stakeholders all the while maintaining an increasing stream of revenue. On top of all that, players expect every update to blow their minds away and that's just not feasible every single time, so when it doesn't (which is usually the case) they bitch and moan.
