" Jagex make a minor update to the amount of runecrafting xp you get from Dungeoneering, but they made a big mistake...

I gained almost 6 mil rc xp from it and was 2 levels away from 99. Here is a picture:

How could you do this? just craft runes, sell them to trader then buy more ess and re craft?

 

Now someone was purposely abusing an update
What was the update tho?

 

The update was a new skill : Dungeoneering.

When Jagex literally shut down the server, everyone disconnected and lost all their items due to fighting monsters, ect..


Now, there is so many flame posts in the Runescape Forums.

I meant the dungeonering update on rc...what did they change?

I noticed that you get regular xp/10ess crafted so what xp did you get per ess to get 6mil xp

 

Luckily that kid won't be banned according to a forum mod.

You bought rune essence from the shop and made them into fire runes and sold them to the shop and rebought rune essence.

Fire runes sold for more than rune essence took to buy I believe, therefore the more you did this the more you could make.

 

Nah, i browsed through forums...apparantly ppl were getting like 2k xp/ess for deaths and other high lvl runes...

 

rune ess is now nerfed you get like 1xp per 10 runes

 

how does the rollback work? I didn't realize fire runes worked though=/

Really? lmaoHow crazy would it be if they didn't roll-back and the people that abused it got free rc levels >.>

 

Nice, i was wondering what the mistake was.

 

They rollback when a few kids get some Runecrafting levels, but not when an alt-code glitch makes people lose christmas crackers. Ridiculous.
