    How can Jagex save this skill.

    I posted my idea on the Rs forums also, I hope a mod reads it there.

    Jagex, I hope you read this.

    First of all, I understand you. You put so much effort into this and instead of constructive criticism, you get too much whining and nagging.

    I have read quite a few RS forums and general opinions about this new skill and most people aren't satisfied.

    I have an opinion on how to make this a LOT better skill and also bring back some of the best features of the game.

    We should make an "even-deeper-underground-dungeon" area, where players (instead of battleing monsters) they can battle each other.
    This should only be avaliable for players with like 60+ dungeoneering and cmb 50 or so.
    These "even-deeper-underground-dungeon should" have special worlds made for duelling.

    The "even-deeper-underground-dungeon" could have portals.
    1)First a player enters a portal for his level range (eg portal for cmb level 70-80 players).
    2) Then he chooses combat "stake" (like stake 100k; there should be options for stake amount, not player-entered). Then a player would be matched an opponent by the system.
    (the different level portals should have different amount of stake options;
    eg. cmb 70-80 have stake options like a) 100k b)200k c) 400k
    Bigger combat levels have bigger stake options, but always 3.
    :More rules could be added:

    I can only see good coming out of this possible update!
    This would make players happy and Jagex happy.

    Likely outcome:

    1) RWTers would NOT be brought back, because the matching is random (within the portal) and you would need like 20+ people for any match to even start.
    Also, there would only be few "even-deeper-underground-dungeon" staking worlds. So they would be packed with players, making the RWT impossible. (like 0.01% to get the opponent you really want for RWT and therefore wind up losing all your cash).

    2)A LOT of people would return to the game again and be active players. Active players get membership ;)

    3)A new skill would be saved. Giving it a real purpose

    4)Jagex's reputation would be saved.

    5)RS repuration would not be ruined.

    even with at least 20 people at least playing, they could still real world trade, easily get 20 people from a site, and go into a game, or get like 5 people from a site, and go into a game, the chance of getting someone is more than a quatre.

    every skill on RS ( including FM ) seems to have more of a 'point' than Dungeoneering or w/e?

    Very good idea, I think that if all of the "dueling" was done in 1 or 2 worlds RWT would be impossible. If the 2 worlds were always highly populated, they could add more. This is honestly the only good "fix" I have ever heard in 4 years of playing RS. The tragedy is that it will never happen.

    They're should be only 2 worlds one for p2p and one for f2p there would be a limit since if someone wanted to RWT they could just say stake 1 billion and I doubt many people would have that option on so they would be able to real world trade and you should be able to stake up to 500k if your a real high level and only 50k maxium at a low level.

    The rewards are nice, but all the good stuff requires way too high of a level.
