Obby Mauler: The Perfect Build?

I've started training an obby mauler. It's F2P (will be getting P2P soon!) and my current stats are:

1-45-1.

I plan on training range and most likely magic too. I think I'm going to aim for these stats before I start PKing.

1-75-1 with 60+ range and I'm not sure about magic.

I'm unsure, though, what quests I should do, and also what the perfect build would be. I know, 99 strength is what you're all going to say, I mean not "maxed" just a "medium" leveled combat. Any suggestions in regards to what quests I should and also what levels I should have before I start PKing?

 

1 attack
80 strength
1 defence
80 range(if you plan on using knives/darts)
XX magic(maybe 79 for entangle if you want)

He's got the right idea, I'd suggest this also.
Of course, 99 Strength would finish it off beautifully but if you don't want the hassle then 80 is still fine.
Also, do Mountain Daughter but DO NOT COMPLETE IT - You will gain Defence experience as a reward. But by slaying the bear, you gain a bear mask which is the best 1 Defence P2P helmet.

I suggest staying as low level as possible, Many many maulers have high HP, that's because they trained, but it's very boring training to 80 Strength, I'd use soulwars from 60 Strength untill 80, and be low combat such as 42 or somthing, Then you could also get like 76 ranged without a combat.

You shouldn't train your range if you are an obby mauler. The range xp will come from pking and you don't want to go range based.

 

tbh I'd do the bear helmet thing from mountain daughter, beat death plateau for climbing boots and just get 20 attack for corrupt stuff.

 

No, mountain daughter dosent give Defence exp.

My bad, it gives 1,000 Attack XP and 2,000 Prayer XP, nonetheless, it's still not worth completing, also he wishes to remain 1 Attack.

Mountain Daughter gives prayer experience which is undesirable for most pures. It's up to you though.
