If I don't have stock am I allowed to connect two people to trade eachother?

I just recently ran into a situation where a man was offering to sell me 3b OSRS GP and another man asking to buy 6b OSRS GP.

There were a few reasons I didn't want to make the deal with either of them and was wondering if I am allowed to direct them to each other.

Neither of them confirmed buyers/sellers. I also planned on suggesting use of a middleman.

 

You can introduce them, but make sure you clarify how you know them, if they're trusted etc.
Generally I would never connect two random people like that personally, however, if I had someone asking me to buy an account that I didn't have in stock, I refer people to other sellers I trust all the time. I just make sure to set the expectation that I'm not involved in the transaction.

 

Just buy the 3b yourself, and sell them to the guy who is buying it. And make a profit
If they DM'd you, it's because they trust you, I guess.
