I hope Barca win to be honest. I hate Real Madrid, purely because Ronaldo plays for them.

As for Rooney being closer to Messi, there's a couple players between Messi and Rooney, including Kaka and Ronaldo.

Phinal, Ronaldo is a very great player. The only things that are wrong with him is that he gives up very easily, he's very lousy, and also very lazy. (He's one of my favorite players in the world)

 

Rooney is way too overrated. People think he's the best player in the world, because he plays for Manchester United. Top 10? Yes. Top 2? Definitely not.

Another issue with people today is that they only rate forwards / attacking mids for the 'best player in the world'. Iker Casillas is a keeper, but he's better than Messi, even though they don't do the same thing. John Terry is an exceptional defender, but he doesn't play forward, so Messi is considered better than him. People really need to consider other positions, not just the people who score.

Messi is the world's best, no doubt about it. He's just a class above. Happy that Barca won.

As to who's next, I've always had a soft-spot for Eto'o. That guy is a fantastic finisher.

Argentina should do well in this years world cup.
