HOMM2 - Teh best game ever

Hahahaha, I just felt like messing around and getting crazy troop numbers and I got to level 32 with my best hero. For those of you who've played this, good on you! You're part of a rare but fabulous minority of today's gamers.

I wouldn't really play it now though.

 

HOMM2 > HOMM3 > HOMM:Others > Other games > More games > 2D games > Flight sims > Train sims > The Sims > Sims > The rest.

HOMM4 & 5 were rate shit!

Wow, sorry to gravedig but this is a great game. My dad got it when I was 7-8 and last year I even got it out again and completed everything. Excluding the ridiculous last levels of 2 or 3 expansion campaigns...

I'd say HOMM3 is way better though, more of everything but still so balanced..
Been playing for so long that I use all hotkeys with sound off = fast fun

Would recommend to anyone, however if you never played an old game it's hard to enjoy the crappy graphics/get into it.

 

Yeah MM3 is way better,
I used to play that all the time.
Play MM3 if you haven't.

 

I own 3, got it off ebay. I still like the second a lot more though, it has a charm that 3 just didn't have for me.

 

Homm 3 complete is well waaaay better than 2 . I often play it.
Very interesting and relaxing game.

 

The whole Heroes of Might and Magic series have been an important part of my gaming 'career' haha. Liked HOMM3 the best though.

Downloaded HOMM5 a while ago to give it a try and I really didn't like how they had changed the graphics so drastically.

 

Yeah, i've got 5 and don't play it at all.
Never played 4 and wasn't keen on it anyway, from the feedback.
There are some really amazing homm3 custom maps if you guys don't know, 'the empire of the world 1/2/3', 'sander's folly', etc.
Anyway it's good to hear other people played!
