So I just got banned

I just got banned for "advertising" and "Spamming." Yet I've never done either. Does WoW mess up bans often? Honestly I haven't done either. Will I get unbanned?

 

Have you used a power leveling service or a gold service? If so they could have advertised on your account.

You'll want to contact Blizzard and explain. But, by the time you talk to a GM, you'll be out of your ban. Unless, of course, it's permanent.

 

It's permanent. I've emailed them, is there anything else I can do?

 

I would call up blizzard or email them and asked what happened. I doubt they'll hand out random bans.

 

Just a quick FYI,if you've emailed the accountadmins they email it will at least 3-5 days for them. If they don't un-ban you,you're pretty much screwed >_<

 

I would just call blizzard it is much easier. I had my account locked for payment charge back.
I gave them a call and explained everything to them and
my account was unlocked as soon as the call was over.

 

They don't stuff up on bans.

You may of spammed in a guild chat? To a private chat? Anything, it can happen.

How'd you explain that one?

 

I had my account hacked while I stopped playing. I recovered my account and the person who was using it had paid for game time.
So when my account was back in my possession they charged it back
by saying there payment was stolen
