Selling after a confirmed deal.

I don't know about you guys, but I think that if the seller has a confirmed deal, and is merely waiting for an MM to complete the trade, he/she should not be able to continue selling the item in his/her thread.

I see this in threads a lot, and it honestly often leads to scamming.

If you don't understand my run-on sentence, here's a better version:
Accounts that are essentially "sold" should not still be on the market.

 

The scammer doesn't want to say no to using a MM because then he looks like a scammer, so he pretends to be dissatisfied with the current MM's that are on, suggests one that is currently offline, and then pretends to sell his account to someone else (to take heat off of the matter), or attempts to sell his account to someone else who doesn't want to use a MM.

Then again setting up provisions to prevent this kind of behavior in any way that would yield positive results is next to impossible, as the mods are not super heroes and the scammer is working in a small window of opportunity.

Edit: Not saying everyone who continues to sell their item like this after a confirmed deal is a scammer. I'd assume some do it just due to the sheer amount of people who back out in the final stages.

 

If they are waiting for an MM, then they haven't started the transaction and the deal isn't done. I don't know what you're talking about, but unless something has been transferred already, there is no confirmed deal.

They have a right to back out... Soooo.... They can keep selling....

Well basically what i assume..
He was in a deal with a kid.. A MM was on their way to seal the deal. The person selling the item got another add on msn and it was a better offer so the kid backed out. Its honestly their item and they can back out whenever they want. I understand your feelings of time being wasted but that's something you have learn to give up at a black market website. Heck i have had people back out right as the mm was going to swap items... So yea..

 

No, I mean when person A gets a confirmed deal for the most money offered, then continues selling and he tells persons B, C, D, and E that they'll be buying the account.

Essentially, don't sell to more than one person, it makes more sense that way.

 

In this case you are saying lets say i trade a maxed pure to you
You buy it But then a thread is till open
People are commenting on it saying ill buy it for somewhat items/cash
And eventually it leads to a scamm coz you go yes i still have it what do you want to offer
Usually since your the account seller and its a maxed pure for sure the other guy is going to go first

A. Not reading the previous posts
B. Not using a middleman to someone who is not trusted.

 

True ^^ because most of the time people that get scammed is by themselves.
1.They dont use a omm/mm
2.They aren't smart enough to get scammed by an imposter
3.They just cant read
